Body of Missing Skier Recovered in Mount Rainier National Park After 200-Foot Fall
The body of a missing skier who appeared to have fallen 200 feet in Mount Rainier National Park has been recovered. The skier was last heard from on May 18 before setting out for a ski tour above Paradise, a popular area within the park renowned for its scenic beauty and challenging terrains.
According to reports, the skier was reported overdue on May 19. A search operation quickly commenced to locate the missing individual. Park officials intensified their efforts, and a helicopter crew eventually spotted an unresponsive person at the base of Pebble Creek's Moraine Falls above Paradise.
