Former MMA champion Cain Velasquez was sentenced to five years in prison for a vigilante shooting spree aimed at a man accused of molesting his son, following a high-speed chase in 2022.

The incident, which saw Velasquez chase and fire multiple shots at Harry Goularte—who is facing felony child molestation charges—raises critical questions about justice and vigilantism. Velasquez's actions have been condemned by authorities, highlighting the risks involved when individuals take the law into their own hands.
